19. Mind the Gap and Measure the Gain
Do you ever get discouraged because you are not where you want to be?
Maybe, on your journey to self-improvement or spiritual fortification, you feel like you take two steps forward and one step back. Perhaps, you fall off the wagon altogether for the one-millionth time, and you wonder if it is worth getting back on when you cannot seem to stay there.
If you have ever felt that way, you are normal! Welcome to the club. But there is a more fulfilling way to live. Today, I am going to show you what that might look like by teaching you to mind the gap and measure the gain.
This week's SHINE challenge:
Determine one way you have been measuring the gap instead of the gain in your life. Try to turn that around by assessing how far you have come since starting your journey.
